India’s Studio Blo, an AI-focused film production company, has partnered with television producer Chad Greulach to develop original entertainment intellectual property using artificial intelligence technology for an American streaming platform.
Through this partnership, Studio Blo and Greulach will co-create AI-generated content for studios, music labels, channels, and brands. Grulach’s credits include producing Netflix’s “Social Currency” (2023), where he served as showrunner, as well as producing reality series such as “Gene Simmons: Family Jewels” (2006) and “Criss Angel: Believe.”
The partnership also extends to FAIMOUS, Studio Blo’s AI-powered celebrity IP platform, which will be integrated with Hollywood talent management companies as part of the deal.
Studio Blo has built a slate of AI productions, including “Warlord,” an AI-generated television series co-produced with internationally acclaimed filmmaker Shekhar Kapur that explores technology and storytelling. Mr. Kapoor also chairs the studio’s AI Ethics Committee.
Dipankar Mukherjee, co-founder and CEO of Studio Blo, said, “Our collaboration with Chad marks a defining moment in our journey to create India’s story for the world.” “At Studio Blo, we use our proprietary AI technology stack as a creative collaboration with the world’s best writers, directors, production designers, and cinematographers. Chad’s global expertise will help us build emotionally rich, visually compelling, and AI-first stories for audiences around the world.”
Grulach said the partnership positions Studio Blo at the intersection of technology and creativity in entertainment. “Dipankar and his team are doing a great job of not just experimenting but truly reimagining what is possible in AI-driven storytelling,” he said. “Together, we aim to fuse human artistry and machine intelligence to create the next generation of entertainment IP that captivates audiences around the world.”
