Diane Keaton had three famous relationships before her death at the age of 79.

The woman, who was pronounced dead on Saturday, was never married and had never regretted that decision. However, she had famous relationships with Woody Allen, Warren Beatty, and Al Pacino.

She then adopted a 29-year-old daughter, Dexter, and a 25-year-old son, Duke, and became a single mother in her 50s.

Let’s take a look back at Keaton’s love life.

The Oscar winner’s first public relationship was with Allen.

She won an Oscar for her role opposite Allen in Annie Hall, which many believed was based on their relationship.

The two met in 1969 when Keaton auditioned for a Broadway production of Allen’s comedy “Play it Again, Sam.” Allen wrote in his memoir Apropos of Nothing that he was immediately drawn to Keaton, whom he described as “lovable, funny, and with a totally original style, authentic and fresh.”

The two eventually became lovers and lived together in Allen’s luxurious penthouse overlooking Central Park.

“Annie Hall” is loosely based on Keaton.

She disputed that belief in a 1977 New York Times article, arguing that “it’s not true, but there’s an element of truth in it.”

The two eventually broke up when Keaton returned to his home state of California to star in Francis Ford Coppola’s classic gangster film, The Godfather.

However, Keaton appeared in seven other Allen films, and they remained close friends. She also supported him when his daughter Dylan accused him of sexual assault, an allegation he denied.

“Woody Allen is my friend and I continue to believe in him,” Keaton wrote in X in January 2018.

Keaton was already dating Beatty when they co-starred in the 1981 film Reds.

Keaton wrote in her memoir, “Then Again,” that she had been obsessed with Beatty ever since she saw him in the 1961 film “Splendor in the Grass,” but couldn’t believe it when she started dating him.

In a 2017 interview with HuffPo, Keaton said Beatty gave him sound advice when he wanted to take on an “unusual artistic project.”

“Warren said to me, ‘Who are you? You’ve wanted to be a movie star your whole life, I get that. Now you better take charge.’ But I didn’t want to do that,” she recalled.

The Father of the Bride star also revealed that Beatty was a romantic.

“I was so scared of flying that I had to fly from Los Angeles to New York once,” she recalled. “So he took me to the airport and said, ‘I’ll walk you to the plane.’ Then he sat down with me and the plane took off, but he was still holding my hand. When we landed, he kissed me goodbye and took the next flight back to LA. It was very cool. ”

The “Baby Boom” star also carried on an on-and-off relationship with her co-star from the “Godfather” trilogy, which they ultimately ended after filming “The Godfather Part III.”

“He was very attractive. We actually met a lot for work,” she told HuffPost. “Jobs bring people together and are very useful.…Maybe you need another job to find something great that you can’t get anywhere else.”

She also described Pacino as “simply the funniest guy…to me, it’s the most beautiful face. I think Warren[Beatty]was gorgeous and very pretty, but Al’s face is like, whoa. Killer, killer face.”

In his recent memoir, Sonny Boy, Pacino recalls taking Keaton to see a talent lawyer to discuss his meager finances in the 1980s.

After discussing his meager savings, Keaton yelled at Pacino’s lawyer, “Do you know who he is?”

As the lawyer began to answer, the “Book Club” star interjected again.

“Well, you’d say to me, ‘Oh, he’s an artist. No, he’s an idiot,'” she exclaimed.

“He is ignorant,” she continued. “If this happens, you’ll have to take care of him.”
