In a new conversation about the fall Puma capsule with Complex, the rapper and designer was asked to name the best thing he’s made in 2025. His answer was simple: “My daughter. It’s my favorite thing I’ve made this year. Thank you Rocky Irish.”
Rocky and Rihanna are speaking out about their baby girl, Rocky Irish Meyers, for the first time since the couple welcomed her on September 13th.
Rihanna announced the news late last month by posting a photo of herself wearing pink and holding her newborn on Instagram. The star captioned the post, “Rocky Irish Meyers September 13, 2025 🎀.” Rocky commented, “MY LIL LADIES❤️.”
In the same interview, Rocky reflected on his growth, saying, “The smartest thing I did this year was learning from the many mistakes I made in the past.”
Rocky recently opened up in ELLE’s October cover story about why he and Rihanna were “praying for a girl” as their third pregnancy nears the end. (The couple already has two sons, RZA and Riot.)
Rocky said, “I hope it’s a girl, I really do…The first time I wanted to know the gender of the baby, the second time I didn’t want to know, and the third time I didn’t want to know until then.”
He was optimistic about their chances: “I feel like it’s going to be a girl. This pregnancy is very different from my other two pregnancies. You’ll know from experience. I hope it’s a girl. That’s what I need.”
