Mystery thriller series Vanished starring Kaley Cuoco has been acquired by MGM+, a premium network for the US, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and Latin America.
Prime Video previously announced deals for the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
AGC Television, the studio behind the show, has also signed a co-production deal with ARD Degeto Film in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg. We distribute the AGC International Airport Series all over the world.
Shot in Marseille and Paris, the thriller also stars Cuoco (The Flight Attendant, The Big Bang Theory), Sam Claflin (Peaky Blinders, Me Before You), Karin Viard (Police, The Berriers), Matthias Schweighofer (Oppenheimer, Army of the Dead), and Simon Abkarian. (“Casino”) is appearing. Royale’ (‘Wife Taker’) and Darl Zuzofsky (‘Saint’, ‘Survivor’).
The couple’s trip to Paris takes a turn when her boyfriend Tom (Claflin) suddenly disappears on a train bound for the south of France, and Alice (Cuoco) becomes entangled in a web of intrigue and danger as she uncovers shocking secrets about the man she thought she knew.
The series is created by David Hilton and Preston Thompson, written by Preston Thompson (Pixies, Kids in Love), directed by Barnaby Thompson (Pixies, St. Trinian’s 1 & 2, Mad About the Boy), and executive produced by James Clayton (Slow Burn Entertainment), David Kosse (Lockwood Pictures), and Barnaby.
