Following his split from Edwards, Malik and Gigi Hadid were linked in 2015. “It’s very new,” the source told the outlet at the time. “They’re just looking where it goes.” Shortly afterwards, Hadid appeared in Malik’s “Pillow” music video, making her red carpet debut at the Met Gala in May 2016.
Their relationship went on and off for years, and in April 2020, Hadid announced that they were expecting their first child. She broke the news on an episode of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, saying, “I’m trying to make it exist in every part of it.
