Keith Urban guitarist Maggiebo’s father spoke during the shocking divorce of the country star from Nicole Kidman.
“I don’t know anything about it except she’s his guitar player,” Chuck Beau told the Daily Mail Thursday.
“It’s more about musicians than dating,” he continued in a comment to the outlet.
The Urban representative did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Chuck’s interview.
Page 6 confirmed on Monday that the Oscar winners, 58 and 57, had split up after nearly 20 years of marriage. “Sometimes, relationships just run their course,” the insider told us, “Moulin Rouge!” the actress “didn’t want separation, they were trying to save things.”
Sources told TMZ on Monday that the former couple had been away “from the beginning of the summer.”
On Tuesday, the “Nine Perfect Stranger” star filed for divorce, citing “incompatible differences” and added parenting plans for her daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
Eagle Eyed fans quickly featured signs of potential tension in the relationship, including a handful of resurfaced interviews with Urban.
Footage of the April performance of the “Sweet Things” singer in Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas also appeared via TMZ. In the clip, Urban sang the 2016 track “The Fighter.” This is thought to have been inspired by his relationship with the “perfect couple” star.
As Urban sang the lyrics, “I was born to love you,” he pointed at Maggie, 25, and pointed her in the direction. Maggie then joined the performance and sang alongside Urban before hugging at the end of the song.
Urban recently changed the lyrics on his hit midshow to further increase speculation about the potential link, including a reference to Maggie.
Sources revealed on Page 6 on Tuesday show that Kidman will be “devastated” by the split. “She feels betrayed,” the source leaked. “She feels really upset.”
Kidman, who went out with his sister Antonia on Wednesday, is prioritizing their two children while dealing with the imminent divorce. “She’s sad and continues her life, and she makes sure her children take care of her,” a source told Page 6 on Thursday.
TMZ sources claimed in the breakup news that Urban was already involved with “another woman.”
“All signs refer to the fact that Keith is with another woman,” multiple sources claimed to the outlet. “However, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked by it.”
Kidman and Urban got married in 2006.
