Buzz continues to build for “The Beekeeper 2.”
Pom Klementieff (“Mission: Impossible”, “Guardians of the Galaxy”) and professional wrestler-turned Adam Copeland (“Percy Jackson and the Olympians”) are the latest to join the cast of Jason Statham-Starring Action Striller.
The “Beekeeper” won $162 million worldwide last year for a former government assassin who came out of retirement in his quest for revenge, and earned the box office. Jeremy Irons, Emmy Leber Lampman, Bobby Nadeli and Gemma Redgrave are distributed worldwide by Amazon MGM Studios and produced by Miramax, with Yara Shahidi in addition to the cast, funded, and reprising their roles in the sequel.
It plots details of “The Bee Keeper 2, which includes the characters of Clementiev and Copeland,” but the film is currently being made, although it has been wrapped. Longshot Production and Wimmer.
Best known for playing Mantis in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy film, Clementiev recently starred on the other side of Tom Cruise in the last two “Mission: Impossible” films, “Dead Records” and “Final Recording.” Outside of the MCU (including “Avengers: Endgame” and “Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special”), Clementiev’s film and television credits include Spikeley’s “Old Boy”, “Ingrid Goes”, “Killers’ Game”, “New Naise”, “New Naes”, “Thunder for Force”, “HBO’s “Westworld”, Netflix “Muldo”, “Muller” Guillaume Nicloux.
Copeland has successfully performed his 30-year professional wrestling career. (During his promotion in WWE, he competed under the edge of the ring name. He is currently working on AEW under his own name.) Copeland’s filmography includes the roles of “Viking” and Haven, and most recently starred as Ares in the hit Disney+ series “Percy Jackson and the Olympian.” The performance was nominated for him for Children and Family Emmy.
