Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck divorced in 2024 after two years of marriage. Lopez recently shared how the experience has changed her.
On September 28th, Jennifer Lopez aired an interview with Lee Cowan on CBS News Sunday morning, with the star sharing insights about her divorce from Ben Affleck. J.Lo said she recalls how the experienced person changed her and ultimately felt that it was “the best thing that’s ever happened.”
“It changed me,” she continued. “It helped me grow in the way I needed to grow.”
Lopez appeared on the program to promote the spider woman kiss, a film in which Affleck serves as executive producer. During filming, Lopez struggled at home, revealing the contrast between her experience on set and her experiences in marriage.
“It was a really tough time,” Lopez said. “Every moment on the set, every moment I was in this role, I was so happy, and it was back home and it wasn’t great.

Lopez and Affleck first dated almost 20 years ago before reuniting in 2021 and getting married in Las Vegas in July 2022. Lopez filed for divorce in 2024, citing the irreconcilable differences.
