Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson was left “smacked a bit” after being involved in a horrifying car accident this week.
“We called around 3am and Doralyn (Thompson’s boyfriend) is pale white,” reality star’s mother, “Mama” June Shannon, shared on Instagram on Friday. “Alana screams in the background.”
Shannon went on to explain that the “Honey Boo Boo Come Here” alum was heading for hair reservations when her car was “T-bone” by someone who “not pays attention.”
“They’re constantly speeding up on her path,” Shannon continued, adding that the 23-year-old boy was responsible for the accident and admitted he was “going to 40 mph.”
The 46-year-old mother of 46 also provided her followers with an update on the health of her youngest daughter, with Thompson noting that “great” was taken to hospital with “back pain” and “some headache issues.”
“She got hit on the driver’s side of the car. That could have been worse,” Shannon added in the video clip.
The TV star captioned her daughter said, “I got slammed a bit, but everything else is fine.”
Shannon’s update came when she was at the airport because she had a Delta sign in the background of the video. She also said she was on the way to give her daughter a “car rental” after the accident.
A 20-year-old Thompson representative did not immediately respond to a six-page request for comment.
In 2023, the “Tiaras and the Tiaras” graduate moved to Denver and lives with her boyfriend while attending Regis University.
Thompson reportedly was forced to miss the first day of her nursing program as she was still resting and recovering from a car accident.
Shannon told TMZ on Saturday that the situation hasn’t gotten worse. He claimed there was a video that gave away traffic for about 10-15 seconds before her daughter was hit by another vehicle.
If she pulled out faster that “it would have been a completely different visit,” we at TV Star concluded.
