The lyrical media brought North Road company executive Jonathan Faust as the new chief financial officer.
In his position, Faust oversees Lyrical’s funding workflow through film, television, video games, animation, graphic novels and venture investments. Lyrical, Faust “plays a key role in assessing and procuring new opportunities, building new strategic industry, supporting Lyrical’s financial planning and operations, and managing the combination of ongoing projects and company leadership.”
Most recently, Faust served as Vice President of Business Development and Operations at Peter Chernin’s The North Road Company, where he co-led growth initiatives and strategic planning throughout the company’s portfolio. Prior to that role, Faust was North Road’s Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Faust previously took executive roles at Words + Pictures and Skydance Media.
Founded in 2021 by CEO Alexander Black, Lyrical Media’s upcoming film and television series Slate stars Adam Winguard’s “Onslaught” and Michael Sarnoski’s “The Death of Robin Hood.” An adaptation of Laura Tun and Nico Parker, Emily Henry’s “Funny Stories,” Bryn Weaver’s “Butcher & Blackbird,” and Lauren Roberts’ “Powerless.”
In addition to solid film and TV slate, Lyrical Media recently launched Lyrical Games, a new, personally funded game publisher committed to empowering creators of high-quality indie games.
