President Donald Trump was joined by Kai Trump, a granddaughter and fellow golfer at Friday’s Ryder Cup.
The duo appeared together at Beth Page Black Golf Course in Farmingdale, New York, and watched the biennial tournament.
The commander, 79, was officially dressed for the occasion of suits and golf shoes.
The 18-year-old paired her with a pair of white sweatshirts from her new collection and paired black jeans and sneakers.
She and Donald took part in a sporting event from the shielded area.
The family has been speaking out about their shared love for golf for many years, and Kai referenced the sport in his July 2024 Republican National Convention speech.
“He calls me during the day at school and asks me how my golf game is going and tells me everything about him,” the teen joked.
“But I have to remind him I’m at school and I have to call him back later,” she said.
The following April, Donald praised his grandson’s skills in a squirting video.
“I play a lot of golf with Kai and she’s a great golfer,” the politician said in April. “She’s doing really well and has won a lot of games.”
The “Apprentice” alum said, “Someday she will be able to defeat her grandfather, but we don’t know when that will happen. That may be a long time.”
In particular, Kai committed to the University of Miami golf team in August 2024.
“I would like to thank my granddad for making him access to great courses and incredible support,” she wrote in a “exciting” Instagram announcement last year.
The athlete is scheduled to start next year as he is a high school high school at Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Florida.
Kai recorded a milestone moment for his social media followers last month.
“I can’t believe it was the last first day of high school,” she captioned a congratulatory snap in August. “The year will come here.”
