Mark Estes is head over heels of Somerley.
The star of “Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test” couldn’t gush about his new girlfriend in an exclusive interview with “Virtual Reality” on Page 6, while promoting season 4 of the hit Fox Competition Reality series.
“That’s great,” said the 25-year-old Estes when asked what the fitness influencer was like.
The former Montana footballer — who caught headlines last year for his fiery, fiery escape with Christine Cavalari — described how he feels his relationship with Ray is special in a way that is not his past.
“We’re both on the same page, you know, we know everything,” he shared. “We’re doing very well. She can see how I feel and how I feel. As we know, we don’t really need to talk about it.
Estes, a social media sense with hundreds of thousands of followers, revealed that their romance sparked in a very modern way. “That started from there,” he said on social media about skiing to Ray’s DMS.
The 29-year-old Ray is one of the most recognisable fitness influencers in the world, with over 26 million Instagram followers, a viral training empire and her own activewear line.
She has also been linked to famous names in the past, including Machine Gun Kelly, but Estes argues that their bond is built on something deeper and praises her strength both inside and outside the gym.
When asked to name another celebrity, he wanted to best see the “special forces” endure the tough situation, but Estes didn’t hesitate. “Maybe my girlfriend,” he replied. “I think she’ll do that. She’s tough.”
The relationship is Estes’ first public romance since saying goodbye to 38-year-old Cavalari. The “Laguna Beach” alum later addressed her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast split, and frankly explained that the pair are in “a different place” of life.
She admitted that Estes is not sure if she is ready for the same level of commitment she wants, but Kavalari makes it clear that he doesn’t want anything but “the best.”
As Estes is personally embarking on this new chapter, he is also brave to relive the experience of filming “special forces” in the unrelenting state of the Moroccan desert.
Season 4 will feature a stacked cast including “Real Housewives” stars Teresa Gudis and Eva Marsil, barstool podcaster Brianna “Chicken Free” LaPaglia, “Sister’s Wife” patriarch Cody Brown and actor Jussy Smollett. Under the surveillance of genuine former professional troops, these well-known participants are pushed into physical and emotional limits in one of the toughest competitions on television.
“Special Forces: The World’s Most Durable Test” Season 4 premieres on Thursday, September 25th at 8pm at Fox.
