Kim Kardashian’s highly planned new shapewear collaboration, Nikeskims, will drop on September 26th. On Wednesday morning, the star debuted a sporty range with a “body at work” presentation on the stairs at the New York Public Library.
Sister Chloe and ultimate mom, Kris Jenner, were there to support Kim. With a tweaked look from the new collection, this is the first collaboration between Skim and Nike so far. The trio sat in the front row in an All Black Director’s chair to watch the performance.
Kim opted for high-waisted leggings topped with a long-sleeved V-neck crop top and an oversized puff coat, while Chloe opted for a short-sleeved mock neck with the same leggings. Chris stood by them in a slim zip-up hoodie and shiny nylon jogger pants, and all three wore oversized dark sunglasses to finish off their looks.
The performance is public and accessible to all passersby, and the music has been heard from the block.
In shorts, leggings, sports bras, and more, the models were decorated with fragments of the Nikeskims collection (all in brown shades), standing in seven rows on the library stairs.
As the music began, the women made synced moves that evoked both pre-workout stretches and a Nikeskims campaign starring female athletes such as Serena Williams, Shakari Richardson, Jordan Chile and Chloe Kim.
The Kardashians are busy for a few days. French Vogue revealed her October cover shoot on Friday.
In the magazine, she brought subtle shades to her ex-husband Kanye West, discussing her fresh sense of confidence, saying, “In the past, I always had to check with someone before making a decision.”
“Can you imagine? It’s crazy to rely so much on other people’s opinions.”
To match her new inner strength, the performance collection, featuring one of the world’s largest sportswear brands, seems like a perfect fit.
