Tyra Banks is coming to “Bel Air” for their final season.
Banks will win a guest star in Season 4 of the Peacock Drama series, previously announced to be last season. Banks plays “a former college classmate with a big personality, where Viv (Cassandra Freeman) reluctantly reunited.”
This role marks the perfect moment for Banks, who took a break early in his acting career as recurring character Jackie Ames in the fourth season of “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.” Although she is best known for her modeling career and creating/hosting “America’s next top model,” Banks’ acting credits include films such as “Life Size,” “Coyote Ugly,” and “Love & Basketball,” and shows such as “Glee,” “Gossip Girl,” and “Anxiety.”
She is represented by Echo Lake Entertainment, UTA, Johnson Shapiros Lewitt & Cole, and IMG of Modeling.
As previously announced, “Bel Air” season 4 will premiere at Peacock on November 24th. The show’s cast includes Jabari Banks, Adrian Holmes of Philip Banks, Freeman of Vivian Banks, Ollie Showtan of Carlton Banks, Coco Jones of Hillary Banks, Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks, Ashley Banks, Jimmy Aking Bora Jeffrey, Johns Jones as Johns, Simune Jones, Jimmy Akinbora Jeffrey, and Jimmy Ark Bora Jeffrey. Coco Jones, Akbar, Jordan L. Jones and Joy Jones are repeated guest stars.
The series was inspired by a viral video created by Morgan Cooper and reconsidered the sitcom “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” as a drama series.
Carla Banks Waddles serves as the writer, showrunner and executive producer of the series. Cooper is also the series’ executive producer and director. He directs the final two episodes of season 4. Will Smith, Terrence Carter, James Lassiter, Miguel Melendez, Benny Medina, Quincy Jones, Andy & Susan Borowitz all act as executive producers. David Boorstein, Des Moran, Shukree Tilghman and Felicia Pride are co-producers, with Nick Copus, Keesha Sharp and Tina Mabry directing multiple episodes alongside Cooper. The series is produced by Universal Television and Westbrook Studios, a division of Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s media company Westbrook Inc.
