Keanu Reeves’ longtime girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, closed rumors that the two were married on Instagram photos on Wednesday.
The artist shared photos of her and Reeves kissing while visiting Roden Crater, an art installation by Arizona artist James Tarrell. She revealed wedding rumors that have spread on social media, congratulations even though the couple is not married.
“This is a real photo. It’s not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement… it’s just a kiss! (Maybe just before or after that… considering the slightly goofy expression on our faces!) She captioned a sweet photo of her and Reeves sharing a smooch while she was sitting.
“Thank you to everyone who celebrated our wedding,” she continued. “Except we didn’t get married.”
“We need good news these days, but it’s still fake news, so be careful!” she continued her note. “So, here’s a bit of real happiness!”
Grant, 52, and Reeves, 61, dated since 2019, and formed a relationship in November of that year at LACMA Art + Film Gala.
Grant gave people rare insight into their relationship in September 2023, telling people that Reeves is “very creative” and “very kind.”
“He’s a lot of inspiration for me,” she said.
“He’s working hard,” she added.
However, she also revealed that she is herself without her partner’s A-list fame.
“The good news about falling in love as an adult is that I built my career around the time my relationship began,” she said.
The two have not been shy about showing PDAs on the red carpet for many years. In April 2024, the “Matrix” actor was snapped with his girlfriend open eyes and kissed him at the 2024 Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.
