Madeline Klein is publicly single, but recently sparked rumors about a date with Greece Prince Constantine Alexios in September 2025. The Outer Banks actress previously dated famous men, including co-stars Chase Stokes and Pete Davidson.
Fans of Netflix’s Outer Bank are particularly fascinated by the love life of its star, Madelinckline. Cline was on a date with her co-star Chase Stokes on the show. However, it has been several years since the pair split. They remained friends and friendly colleagues. Klein has had other love ever since.
In an interview with Today Show in February 2023, Cline spoke a bit about accepting privacy since her relationship with Stokes.
“Some people can do that,” she said she lives a life of public love. “(But) If you leave 100% of your energy and give it all, where is the rest for yourself?
She continued, “I realized that there is a part of my life where only me or one other person is entitled. I like it that way. It also just makes things more special. It’s usually a relationship.”
So far, here’s what we know about Klein’s relationship and her date history:
Chase Stokes
Cline met Stokes in 2019 after being cast in Outer Bank as a Love interest. They had actually appeared in the same show, Stranger Things before. Stokes told Life & Style in August 2021 that he had never met on set.
As imaginary romantic partners, Cline and Stokes had a lot of chemistry, and fans suspected there was more between them off-screen. Then, in the spring of 2020, they began leaving public comments on each other’s Instagram accounts. In June 2020, Stokes shared those photos on the beach and became the official Instagram. He captioned the image, “The Cat Outside the Bag.”
In the comments, Cline wrote, “The topper punches the Air RN,” and “I collapse and can’t wake up.”
In November 2020, she told Entertainment Tonight:
“We were friends before this, so we knew how we worked as individuals before we met each other. We knew how we worked professionally. We knew each other’s personal boundaries… In principle, we never bring anything negative.
A year later, the couple split. The source told people in November 2021:
Another source told Weekly that their “busy schedule” had hit the relationship.
“They have been trying to solve it for quite some time, but they decided that it would be best to go their separate ways,” the insider said. “Both have busy schedules that make it difficult to spend a lot of time together.
Cline told Cosmopolitan in February 2023 that she and Stokes continued to work together after the breakup.
“We always said work wasn’t touched,” she explained. “Nothing personal or negative about it touches on the job. And while it’s not always easy, our job is to leave better than we found the show and better than we found the season. And I’m really grateful for that.”
Ross Butler
Towards the end of her relationship with Stokes, rumors spread about actors Ross Butler and Klein. In September 2021, TMZ shares a pair’s video at a restaurant in Milan and enjoys dancing together during city fashion week. In October 2021, Butler answered a question from the publication, saying, “I dance with a lot of people. I’m just friends.”
That November he left a drooling face and hot-faced emoji in a photo of Klein in a photo with the Hollywood Reporter. However, it has never been confirmed to be more than flirting.
Zac Beer
In December 2021, US Weekly reported that there were rumors that Cline was dating DJ Zack Bia. They took a photo together at Giorgio Bardi in Santa Monica, California. Klein also celebrated her birthday with BIA at the Los Angeles Lakers game.
“Madeline and Zach have spent a lot of time together,” the source told Weekly. “However, she plays Koi about the state of her relationship with him.”
The insider continued. “They may look like a strange match, but she’s someone who can get along with anyone because of how kind she is. They’re cute together.”
BIA appeared on BFFS alongside Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards Podcasts in January 2022, and was asked about his relationship with Cline.
“We’re not on dates. We’re hanging out all the time,” he said. “As someone like me who is very busy and is about to start traveling, she has a set of five months of the year. She has a busy schedule. I think I have a busy schedule.
In February 2022, BIA was connected to pop star Olivia Rodrigo.
Jackson Gatch
In July 2022, Cline was linked to North of Nine’s Lead Singer, Jackson Guthy. They were filmed on a date in Malibu, California. This relationship was not confirmed until December 2022, when Klein interviewed Kat. The publication said she shared “her boyfriend and dog” and “Malibu home.”
Guthy officially made Instagram with their stories for her 25th birthday. In an interview with Cosmopolitan in February 2023, Klein said, “I’ve never been happy.”
“I’m happy to be taken away. All I know is that he makes me incredibly happy. And I wasn’t really happy. “Love is tight. And when you find something like that, you fight for that shit. And you fight to keep it yours, do you know?”
In July 2023, Cline unlocked Guthy on Instagram, sparking rumors of breakup. They never talked about their split, but in September 2023 she was linked to a new man.
Pete Davidson
The new guy was Pete Davidson. Klein had linked to Saturday Night Live Alum when he saw him having breakfast at the Beverly Hills Hotel in late September 2023. She went with him to Las Vegas, where he was playing a stand-up set.
“Madeline and Pete have been dating for a few weeks and are getting closer quite quickly,” the source said. They added that the new couple “wanted to wrap things up and down” because “they thought the madness surrounding their relationship was going crazy.”
They continued to be seen on each other for the next few months, but their final public appearance took place in Philadelphia in January 2024.
In September 2024, Cline told Bustle that it actually split early that year. Klein said, “I wouldn’t talk about their relationship.” When asked what it’s like to date someone so famous online, Klein replied, “The jokes are writing themselves.”
Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece
In late September 2025, Klein was photographed kissing Greece Prince Constantine Alexios while he was out at the New York City restaurant “Lions Bar.” Celebrity gossip outlet Deuxmoi took a photo on Instagram and posted a video of him holding his hand while walking around town.
Neither Constantine Alexio nor Klein have worked on speculation about their relationship.
