When Jennifer Aniston is depressed, she has a surefire way out of her poor performance.
Morning Show star, 56, shared her go-to way to make you feel better with people. Cook with Clydeo, author of The New Children’s Cookbook, said the easiest way to lift her spirit is simple. It’s about looking at her girlfriend.
“I have a truly wonderful, loving, solid group of friends that are incredibly funny in addition to being a great person, so we make each other laugh,” replied the Emmy Award-winning actress.
“To be honest, having a group of friends is always an instant pick-up,” she said, adding that if she isn’t home, “makes some kind of comfortable food like pizza nights, burgers, and Mexican food.” “I go to my favorite restaurant with my girlfriend and have a martini and a delicious meal.”
When asked to call someone she likes, she cried out, among other things, friends castmates Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, Jason Bateman’s wife Amanda Anka, Andrea Bendewald and Jennifer Meyer, as girlfriends who felt “very lucky.”
“You’ll find one of them, or someone will eventually call you,” Aniston explained with a laugh.
The star explained that she turned on the documentary and “turns off the news, certainly so.”
Of course, her rescue puppy, Clyde (inspiration for her new book character Clyde) and Lord Chesterfield lifted her up.
“They’re my babes,” said the founder of the Lowby Hair Care brand. “There’s no doubt about them. They’re spoiled.”
Recently, one heartwarming thing in Aniston’s life is receiving photos from Cook and Cook of a friend’s family recreating a banana pancake.
“I took lots of reports and photos of Jimmy and Molly making pancakes,” she said of Jimmy Kimmel and his wife, Molly McNanney, daughter, Jane, 11, and son Billy.

The breakfast recipe is “one of the book’s hits,” but Aniston’s “personal favorite” dish is a delicious snack.
“There’s no guilt, because they’re just a bite. You can stretch it into two bites, but definitely, it’s tasty, sir, tasty,” she said of the cheap recipe.
Cooking at Clydeo, released on September 9th, includes 35 recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Most of it comes from the perspective of Clydeo, an animated puppy that first appeared on Aniston’s Instagram in 2021.
Aniston released her debut children’s book, Clyde, in October 2024, with an illustration by Bruno Jacob, in four volumes deals: actress, Harper Collins, and the invisible universe.
According to Harpercollins, the kids’ cookbooks are followed by Clydeo and Peanut Butter later this year, and Clydeo will become friends in the winter of 2026.
