It’s only three months to go before Emily in Paris’ Season 5 premiere. If Lucien Laviscount can say anything about upcoming episodes, it buckle up.
The 33-year-old actor joined the Netflix series, which was a hit in season 2, and Alfie, a new love interest for Emily (Lily Collins), throws yet another wrench into the burgeoning chemistry between her and her neighbor Gabriel (Lucas Bravo).
Things between Alfie and Emily are no longer romantic, and she is starting a new era in Rome with Marcello (Eugenio Francescini) instead, but that means ensuring they find plenty of drama elsewhere.
“What I say is the strap,” Ravis Count tells people celebrating the launch of John Barbatos XX Elixir, the brand’s latest fragrance, in New York City, to celebrate John Barbatos’ 25th anniversary. “Because I’ve been on the left, left, and a little bit right this season.”

“I didn’t know what to expect – no one would do before I got the script – and then I got the script for this season… Yeah, I don’t think I could foresee anyone coming,” he says.
Cast – Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy – also includes Beaulieu, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gurley, Paul Forman and William Abadi, but filming for Season 5 began in May, with Ravis Count saying, as usual, as is the case.
“It’s good to be back. It’s good to be back in Paris. I’ve also filmed quite a bit in Rome.”
He adds how cast dynamics have continued to evolve since the 2020 show premiere.

The next seen British actor in the highly anticipated adaptation of people he meets on vacation also reflects why he loves to do Alfie four years after he joins.
“I think Alfie always tells his truth. I want to say that it’s a trait for me. In the most difficult situations, he tells the truth. I want to say that he’s pretty similar in that respect.” “I love doing Alfie. Alfie was an amazing part of my life right now. It was cool.”
According to the official summary, Season 5 will pick up Emily as head of Agency Grato Roma after making a shocking decision in the season 4 finale, but she faces “a professional and romantic challenge to adapt to life in a new city.”
For Emily, when things start to look up, “work ideas backfire and Fallout cascades into broken hearts and career retreat.”
“In search of stability, Emily leaps against her French lifestyle and tackles conflicts with integrity until a big secret threatens one of her closest relationships, and Emily appears ready to embrace deeper connections, new clarity, and new possibilities.”
