Cookie Johnson and Magic Johnson celebrated their 34th anniversary and thundered with love and close friends!
The couple, who were together from university and married in September 1991, celebrated a special day in an intimate setting.
“We just had some of our closest friends, and Cookie, 66, will tell people sympathize with Elizabeth Taylor on Thursday, September 18th: “Sunday was a very beautiful day.
Cookie also recorded the couple’s anniversary celebration on Instagram. “A happy anniversary to the love of my life!! I can’t believe we are celebrating 34 years together. Where will the time go!!” She captioned a photo of the event shared on Monday, September 15th.

She said, “I love how our love is authentic and our own, I enjoy every moment together and our eternal love is here!! We had a beautiful lunch at the Bel Air Hotel with our close friends, it was a wonderful day!
In the photo, Cookie was wearing a denim dress and heel, but Magic’s real name, Iyabin Johnson Jr., rocked a zebra and cheetah print stain shirt. The couple shared a kiss and held a white cake with the words “Happy Anniversary Cookie & Earvin!”
In his own post about the event, Magic, 66, thanked “incredible friends” who attended with them, including “Dave and Tonya Winfeld, Sugar Ray and Bernadette Leonard, Leonard and Rita Richardson, Dennis and Gina Gage, Tony and Vanessa Culloway, Eura, Tamiko, Linda and Jennifer.”
“The amazing food, great presentations and the outside patio were amazing! It made our 34th anniversary something to remember!” he added.

Magic has long believed in cookies that saved his life during his HIV diagnosis. He originally announced his news from the NBA and his retirement on November 7, 1991.
He said in 2016 he gave people the option to leave the relationship. What magic reminded me was the most difficult thing he had to do. But she stayed by his side, and she believed in her loyalty to the basketball legend that saved his life.
“If Cookie left, I think I’d probably be dead now — there’s no doubt about that,” he said at the time. “The reason I live today and why I work so hard today is because of my wife and family.”

Elizabeth Taylor’s Compassion Night was helped by the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation to raise funds for AIDS research and awareness.
“I’ve been an advocate for years, so it’s very important to me,” Cookie told people about supporting and attending the event. “My husband and I, in 1991, when my husband was diagnosed, we started our own foundation. Things have changed.”
“You’ve come a long way with medicines and all sorts of things like that, but what’s going on is that young people aren’t afraid of it anymore, so we still have to talk about it. We’ve now made sure to let them know you need to take your precautions.
