The Angry Birds franchise is taking part in the Creator Economy.
Jimmy Donaldson, known as Mrbeast, and influencer and co-founder of “Integrity Yours” have joined the voice cast for “The Angry Birds Movie 3.” Additionally, Paramount announced that the animation sequel, which was previously dated January 29, 2027, has been moved to December 23, 2026. The goal is to make use of holidays when kids want to graduate from school and see some Ornery Avians.
While Donaldson may not be used to studio animation, he is one of the most popular entertainers currently working for him and has created the world’s most subscribed YouTube channel. His MrBeast platform has 436 million subscribers, roughly 1 billion followers across social media, and over 2 billion viewers each month. He is the founder of Beast Industries and launched the least viewed series on Amazon Prime Video, Beast Games.
The 15-year-old problem is well known in the online world, leading over 30 million followers. Paramount said Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox will recreate their roles as HAL and bubble.
“The Angry Birds Movie 3” is written and directed by John Rice by Thurop Van Orman. Previously announced cast members include Jason Sudekis, Josh Gadd, Rachel Bloom, Danny McBride, Emma Myers, Cake Palmer, Tim Robinson, Lily James, Marcello Hernandez, Walker Scobel, Sam Richardson, Anna Cast, Mytery Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glazer and James Glazer.
Rovio and Sega will produce the film with Namit Malhotra and his production company Prime Focus Studios, and will work with Flywheel Media, One Cool Group and Dentsu.
