Francisco Lindor’s wife, Katia Rejuero, has always supported him on the field, but recently he has had the opportunity to return his favor.
On September 16th, Rejuero played the national anthem on the violin when the New York Mets played against the San Diego Padres, and Lindor became emotional after seeing his wife’s performance with his children.
The Mets shortstop married Rejuero in December 2021 after welcoming her daughter, Karina a year ago. In June 2023, their second daughter, Amapola, was born, and their third child, a son named Core, arrived in March 2025.
They have already gone through several major life milestones together, but Lindor admitted to Auto Living in March 2023 that he still “learned” about Rejuro and was taking tests to better understand his “love language.”
“I ask questions. I try to understand, and my wife taught me to listen to her,” he told the outlet. “Together with Katia, I learned to try to communicate a little better.”
So who is Francisco Lindor’s wife? Everything you need to know about Katia Reguero’s relationship with MLB players.

Photo Lejuro posted Lindor’s eyes caught on Instagram, and the rest is history, he explained to the New York Post in April 2022.
“I messaged her on Instagram,” he recalled. “A picture of her emerged and I thought, “This girl is beautiful!”
“We talked for three months, and then I met her in Arizona. “We’re just hanging out… (and) at first it was a bit like, ‘Oh, I really don’t want to commit,’ but I knew she was alone. ”

On November 4th, 2020, the couple welcomed their daughter, Karina Zo. She is often seen supporting her father in his games and is also a huge fan of Mets manager Buck Shorterter.
Lindor took part in a press conference with his daughter after his team defeated the San Diego Padres in Game 2 of the National League Wild Card Series in October 2022. However, she was not interested in listening to her father’s reaction.
“Daddy, back!” she told Lindor. “Yeah, Buck has left,” he told Toddler at the time, telling reporters, “She loves Buck.”
Lindor and Reguero’s second daughter, Amapola Chloé, was born in June 2023. A few days later, Reguero shared her home birth experience and a video montage of Karina’s photos with her new sister on Instagram.
“My second birth. I prayed for the timing of this birth team and Amapola’s birth, and God answered my prayers,” she wrote in the caption. “I couldn’t do it without the best support system. I would like to thank my midwife and my husband @lindor12BC for staying by the side of my labor every second. I am blessed!”
Reguero announced that she and Lindor are looking for a third child on Instagram in December 2024.
“All eyes, a little person, a party of five coming up to you,” they wrote along with a series of photos featuring Reguero’s growing baby bumps.
The couple shared another joint Instagram post to announce the baby’s arrival in March 2025.
They share his name in an Instagram caption and write “Koa Amani.”

Lindor and Rejero got married on December 16, 2021 at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, Florida.
She set her mind in a tropical place. This was fully booked during the Mets offseason from November to February.
The couple exchanged personal vows on their first appearance, and had their daughter walked down the aisle in Lindor. The newlyweds then enjoyed the first dance of Andrea Boselli’s version of “Can’t Hone Head in Love.”
She told the outlet, “I grew up listening to Andrea Boseli and I’ve always loved the song. I shared it with Francisco since we started dating.

Reguero launched her podcast, The Parent in August 2022. This, according to Instagram, shares “the unrespectful truth about parenting.” Guests included interviews in English and Spanish, including her husband, former Miss Universe Puerto Rico Mariana Vicente, and a mental health professional.
“I do this podcast as much for myself as everyone else,” she shared in the first episode. “I needed a creative, intelligent, and inspiring outlet. It stems from my desire to go back and start a conversation that I felt needed when I was pregnant and became a parent, and the first few months were so overwhelming.”
She added, “And it didn’t seem like there was enough authentic conversation around what parent-child relationships actually looked like.”
They prioritize communication in their relationships

Learning the right way to give and receive love from each other was essential to a married couple’s relationship, Lindor said. In an interview with Autoliving, the baseball star was opened up about his wife and what he has learned from each other over the years and communicating.
“Just sitting on the couch with my wife is a quality time,” Lindor said.
“We’re one another’s neighbors, we watch stupid shows, and that’s the quality of time,” he added. “Her quality times look different, but I learned that communication can be said, and she understands.”
He added that the two continue to grow every day in their relationship.
“From what I saw, we definitely need to work to grow, because that’s the problem when we start growing differently,” Linder said.

According to ESPN, Reguero is a classically trained musician who adopted music at St. Mary’s University in Texas.
She showed off her talent when she played the national anthem on the violin at Mets Padres games during the 2025 baseball season, watching Lindor and her kids proudly. For the performance, she wore her husband’s Mets jersey.
“Music is a very complicated part of my education, I grew up from a young age and without it I can’t imagine my life,” she told Sportsnet New York in May 2024.
