Zendaya’s “new thing” is the stuff of bridal dreams.
The actress appeared on the red carpet at the Paris premiere of her new film The Drama, looking like the perfect bride in Louis Vuitton creations.
Her latest in a series of wedding-themed looks that match the film’s premise is a backless, long-sleeved dress that features a large back cutout.
Viewed from the front, the clean white sheath dress barely skimmed the floor and featured a high crew neckline. The back brought all the drama, boasting a fully open silhouette with an oversized black bow that led to a long train.
The 29-year-old layered the diamonds with a $208,000 David Morris multi-strand necklace and 27-carat choker, diamond stud earrings ($46,000), and an epic stack of rings, all from the same brand.
She was again seen wearing a thin gold band on her left ring finger, along with a rose-cut double-row eternity band ($62,000), suggesting that she is, in fact, married to Tom Holland in real life.
Meanwhile, her on-screen fiancé Robert Pattinson looked dapper in a Dior suit and polka-dot tie.
But just one outfit wasn’t enough. For the premiere, she wore an Ermanno Scervino look featuring a pale pink silk dress inlaid with lace.
Zendaya paired the sexy slip with an oversized pink feathered coat. Her jewelry and dramatic appeal remained the same.
Last week, she appeared at the premiere of The Drama in Los Angeles, where she not only wore another white bridal look, but also chose to re-wear something from her closet as an “old thing.”
Her choice was the exact same Vivienne Westwood bridal dress she first wore at the 2015 Oscars more than a decade ago, when Giuliana Rancic sparked controversy with her controversial comments about Zendaya’s dreadlocks.
Stylist Law Roach has confirmed that The Drama’s press tour will follow the old adage, so fans can expect her next appearance to be “something borrowed”.
Roach is known for his epic vintage collections, and recently dressed Zendaya in a minidress previously worn by Whitney Houston and Carrie Bradshaw, but there’s no telling whose closet this pair will come from.
