Zendaya and Tom Holland made a rare public appearance together on Sunday, joining the Uncharted star’s inner circle for a group outing at The Traitors: Live Experience in London. The evening was a family affair, with Tom’s parents Nicky and Dominic Holland, brothers Sam, Harry and Paddy and long-time friend Harrison Osterfield also in attendance.
On Monday, Sam posted a recap of the night, including an engagement snapshot of him posing with his parents. Zendaya was all smiles next to her fiancé as she sported a cropped bob paired with a gray sweater. Tom, on the other hand, wore a light jacket over a burgundy top. “Had a great time yesterday with @thetraitorslive,” Sam wrote. “Once you’re at the Round Table, you can’t trust anyone…not even your family.”
The couple’s London outing follows Zendaya publicly showing her support for Tom by accompanying him to the Brothers Trust Gala in September. The charity event, which was set up by Tom’s parents in 2017, included the Tom Holland Posh Pub Quiz, which included Tom’s brother and Spider-Man co-star Jacob Batalon. Zendaya was by her boyfriend’s side all night, wearing her engagement ring, and moments later, Tom introduced her as his “fiancée.”
Tom proposed to Zendaya about a year ago, and her father recalled the moment in a Patreon post in January. “He was buying a ring,” Dominic wrote. “He talked it over with the father and got permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out… when, where, how, what to say, what to wear.”
Since then, the couple’s schedule has left little room for wedding preparations. Zendaya is juggling season 3 of Euphoria alongside her return to the Dune series, while she and Tom are filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey.
Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach explained to E! News in July: “The process hasn’t started yet. Zendaya is working on so many movies. She’s currently filming the next iteration of Dune, so she’s away for that. There’s so many movies that there’s a lot of time.”
Still, the excitement hasn’t waned. “I’m really excited because I know they really love each other and have for a really long time,” Roach added. “I think the fact that the world was able to share that love story is really beautiful.”
