Zayn Malik appears to be throwing shade at former One Direction bandmate Harry Styles over the high ticket prices for his upcoming ‘Together Together’ tour.
Malik, 33, told the audience Wednesday in a viral clip from his concert in Las Vegas: “I just want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you for being here tonight.” “You could have stayed anywhere, but you decided to spend the night with me.”
“I hope the ticket prices aren’t too high,” the singer joked, before adding with a smile, “I just said it.”
Styles, 31, will perform 50 shows around the world from May to December 2026.
Tickets for his London show are on sale for between £44 ($60.80) and £466.24 ($642.76), according to The Hollywood Reporter, prompting backlash online.
“Harry, I’m sorry but this is stupid. I love you but I can’t justify spending my entire salary on two concert tickets,” one fan wrote to X this week.
“Harry Styles ticket prices are horrible. Everyone should be talking about this because if nothing changes it will soon be the case for every concert. We need in-person tickets back,” another tweeted.
A third fan complained: “I’m so pissed off that Harry Styles tickets cost the same as 3 fortnightly paychecks.”
Another disgruntled Styles fan vented his displeasure: “Sorry, pre-sales for artists at standard prices are ridiculous! Come on @Harry_Styles @Ticketmaster, please do better! I can’t even imagine 30 shows in my city and it’s too hard to even get 2 regular tickets.”
Styles will be touring to promote his next album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, which will be released on March 6th.
He confirmed that £1 ($1.38) from every ticket sold on the stadium tour will be donated to the LIVE Trust.
The organization supports grassroots music venues across the UK.
Page Six reported that Styles has secured a 30-show residency at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
Styles and Malik were members of One Direction along with Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and the late Liam Payne.
The boy band formed on Britain’s ‘X Factor’ in 2010, with Malik leaving five years later. The band eventually disbanded in 2016.
After Malik left the band, Styles said in a 2017 Celebrity Family Feud sketch, “Why would someone from a successful band go solo? That’s insane!”
And in a 2019 Saturday Night Live monologue, he joked, “I love those guys. They’re my brothers. Niall, Louis, Liam, and…Ringo! Yeah, that’s it.”
However, any signs of feud seemed to disappear when the surviving members of the group reunited at Payne’s funeral in Amersham, England, in November 2024.
Payne died in October 2024 at the age of 31 after falling from the third-floor balcony of her hotel room in Buenos Aires.
Malik and Styles released a statement on Pillow Talk on social media following Payne’s tragic death, saying, “There are no words that can justify or explain how I feel right now, other than being devastated. Wherever you are right now, I hope you are well, at peace, and know how much you are loved.”
Meanwhile, Styles said in a statement: “I am devastated by Liam’s passing. His greatest joy was making others happy, and it was an honor to be a part of that joy.”
