The Grammy nominee will perform at amfAR’s Cannes Film Festival Gala.
The star-studded 32nd annual fundraiser will be held on May 21st at Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc.
“We are thrilled that Zara Larsson will be joining us at Cannes this year,” amfAR CEO Kyle Clifford said in a statement Tuesday morning. “Not only is she an exciting and talented artist, she has been a long-time supporter of our mission and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her with us.”
Larson’s hits include “Lush Life,” “Never Forget You,” “Symphony” and “Stateside.” She received her first Grammy nomination for the title track of her 2025 hit album “Midnight Sun.”
Black Taigara will also feature a live auction of luxury goods, unique experiences and works of art led by auctioneer Simon de Pury. Carine Roitfeld returns as curator of the evening’s signature fashion show.
Elizabeth Taylor, founding international president of the HIV/AIDS organization, hosted the first Cannes Gala at Moulin de Mougins and has since raised more than $314 million in support of amfAR research.
Last year’s event featured performances by Adam Lambert, Ciara, Duran Duran and more. Taraji P. Henson served as host. A mixed media portrait of Marilyn Monroe by Oscar winner Adrien Brody has sold at auction for $425,000. Guests included Spike Lee, Colman Domingo, Cara Delevingne, Jeff Bezos, and then-fiance Lauren Sanchez, Michelle Rodriguez, Evan Ross, Robin Thicke, Mariska Hargitay, and Heidi Klum.
