Zach Bryan’s wife Samantha Leonard is already part of the family.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in San Sebastian, Spain on New Year’s Eve after a tumultuous relationship with Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia and a whirlwind romance.
And Leonard made sure Brian’s late mother attended the wedding, including a piece of her wedding dress.
On Monday, the “Something in the Orange” singer, 29, shared a photo of his wife on his Instagram Stories, revealing details about her.
“I cried for a while because Samantha took the trouble to add the lace from my mom’s wedding dress to her own,” she wrote, adding, “Thank you so much, thank you so much.”
She also posted a second photo of her mother from her wedding day, writing, “I wish she would have been here by now.”
Brian’s mother, Annette DeAnn Brian, passed away in 2016 and was the namesake of his 2019 debut album, DeAnn.
The bride’s dress, designed by Cavanagh Baker, was made from more than 30 yards of French Chantilly lace and featured a strapless sweetheart neckline, the designer said. The corseted bodice has a dropped waist and is also trimmed with lace.
The designer described the dress as a “modern yet heirloom-worthy dress.” Additionally, she said there are “certain details that only the bride and groom would notice,” which is likely a reference to the incorporated vintage lace.
Brian initially confirmed the marriage on his social media platform by sharing a photo of himself with his new wife in his arms. It said it was “tougher than others.”
Leonard was seen wearing a different white dress than she wore for the wedding, and hinted that she would change her outfit for the reception. It was also strapless, made of sheer silk, and trimmed with feathers at the hem.
She followed up his post a few days later with an intimate snap from inside the gorgeous Santa Maria del Coro church, adding: “Forever xx.”
