Yungblud pays homage to his latest look.
The lockers turned their heads on the VMAS 2025 red carpet on Sunday, shirtless in a leather jacket and paired with low-rise pants.
However, it was his jewelry that carried him special feelings.
Osborne, who passed away in July this year at the age of 76, gave his protégé his own gold necklace while recording a music video for his 2022 Yungblud hit song “The Funeral.”
The young rocker returned his favor three years later, giving Osborne his own custom cross necklace this July at the singer’s “Crazy Train” final show.
Yungblud, who has formed a close friendship with the “Miracle Man” singer, posted an emotional Instagram homage to Osborne after his death later that month, saying, “Your cross around my neck is the most precious thing I own.”
“The last time we met, I didn’t think you were full of life and your laughter filled the room would be gone anytime soon,” the star continued, adding that he was going to “change” Black Sabbath every night for the rest of my life.
Although he hasn’t been nominated, Yungblud (his real name is Dominic Harrison) will be on stage tonight at a USB Arena in New York, along with Aerosmith’s Nuno Bettencourt and Stephen Tyler and Joe Perry, seeking a tribute to the late locker.
When asked what we could hope for from that moment, the star told Billboard “Good rock and roll in the name of the king.”
