YouTube signed a deal to launch Herring Networks right-wing One America News (OAN) on YouTube TV in the fourth quarter of 2025. News of the agreement to carry OAN comes just hours before the end of the current agreement with YouTube TV to carry Fox Corp. and Fox News and other networks.
In addition to OAN, YouTube TV adds Herring’s rich entertainment (AWE) channels. It “provides original, subrogative living programming,” featuring “awarding travel destinations, outrageous cars, great homes, and more.” Both OAN and AWE will be participating in the YouTube TV base package lineup, currently at $82.99 a month.
According to research firm Moffettnathanson, YouTube TV had an estimated 9.5 million subscribers as of the end of 2024. In May, Herring Network announced a multi-year content carriage agreement with Charter Communications’ Spectrum. In this spectrum, OAN and AWE have been added to the Spectrum TV Select and TV Stream plans (OAN Live Consumer Streaming Platform is available to Spectrum TV customers at no additional cost). In January 2025, Haring announced that both OAN and AWE had been released on Dish Network and Sling. In 2022, OAN was dropped on DirectV and Verizon Fios. This was two big Pay-TV providers that provided networks at the time.
OAN has built the brand as perhaps the most enthusiastic of Pro Trump TV. OAN has regularly promoted conspiracy theories that have emerged by Trump and his supporters, including the 2020 president united in favor of President Biden. Last year, OAN reached a settlement with voting technology company SmartMatic. This sued the network for a loss of honor and accused the 2020 election of mistakenly reporting that Smartmatic’s voting machine was somehow involved in switching votes from Trump to Biden. The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed.
Meanwhile, the current YouTube TV distribution agreement with Fox Corp. ends on Wednesday, August 27th at 5pm (East US). YouTube said it was trying to reach a renewal of its contract with Fox Corp., saying, “Our priority is to reach a transaction that is fair to both parties and that can maintain the value of its services.” YouTube TV says subscribers are entitled to a $10 credit if Fox content is not available “for a long period” as a result of the deal fight. (Fox News was sued by Smartmatic for the network’s 2020 election claim. In 2023, Fox Corp. agreed to pay Fox News $787.5 million to resolve a similar defamatory lawsuit filed by the Dominion voting system.)
Adding OAN to YouTube TV could be a YouTube negotiation tactic, which involves making Fox Corp. agreeing to the terms of updates, or as a way to ease the anger of Maga fans at events where Fox News winks from the lineup.

Regarding the agreement with Herring Network, Justin Connolly, the global head of YouTube media (formerly Disney’s Distribution Officer), said: “Our goal has always been to provide a wide range of content.
“We are thrilled to bring OAN and AWE to YouTube TV’s ever-growing subscriber community, which has enabled viewers across the country to connect with the network,” said Richard Levine, president of Oan and Awe’s Distribution.
In January 2025, OAN completed construction of a new California broadcast studio for the launch of “The Matt Gaetz Show,” hosted by four former Florida lawmakers. Gaetz joined OAN after withdrawing for Trump’s choice for the US Attorney General.
Additionally, according to Herring Networks, OAN expanded its presence in Washington, DC, securing Pentagon office studio space for daily live reports. The network says it is currently producing 16 hours of live news coverage daily, featuring live updates from the White House, Capitol Hill and the Pentagon, in addition to national and international news reports.
In addition to pay TV distribution agreements, the network is currently available on Klowdtv, GCI and VIDGO, according to the OAN website. OAN Live is available as a consumer streaming service for $4.99 a month or $53.89 a year.
