A$AP Rocky is bringing punk rock chaos in his latest music video.
On Monday, January 5, the rapper and actor premiered “Punk Rocky,” the first release from his upcoming album Don’t Be Dumb, and its corresponding music video.

The track takes a more breezy indie-rock turn, with Rocky (real name Rakim Mayers), 37, singing in the chorus: “I want to fall in love, I don’t want to break up / I don’t want to leave (Take Me Back) / I want to fall in love, I don’t want to break up / I don’t want to leave (Take Me Back).”
The accompanying visual, co-directed by Rocky, Volkert Verdoorn, and Simon Becks, shows Rocky and his friends having a chaotic garage jam session that gets the neighborhood excited.

While they’re having fun, a neighbor played by Winona Ryder brings cookies and dances with Rocky, and an enraged predator tries to kick out the A$AP Mob frontman and his friends.
According to a press release, the video stars Danny Elfman, Thundercat, and A$AP Nast, and brings five of Rocky’s six Don’t Be Damn alter egos to life, with Rocky himself playing GR1M, Tommy Revenge as Lugahand, Thoth as Babushka Boy, the Williams twins as S.H.I.E.L.D., and Dummy appearing alongside them.
Rocky, with swollen eyes and pink rollers, ends up being arrested and sent to prison with his friends. However, someone posts bail and the party is able to continue.
However, the “Sundress” artist seeks revenge on the aforementioned nagging neighbor by cornering him and firing multiple shots, resulting in him once again being handcuffed in the back of a police car.
But he didn’t stay there long. Rocky uses a lighter, which causes him to escape from police custody.
Rocky’s first full-length effort, Don’t Be Dumb, is scheduled for release on January 16th.
Last month, Rocky shared the cover art for his upcoming album on Instagram.
“Sorry 4, wait, it’s finally here!” he captioned a post of the cover art at the time.
He continued, “Thank you Tim Burton for helping make this movie! Coming soon.”

Rocky then revealed that the album would be released on January 16th, National Nothing Day.
According to the latest press release, the album’s cover art was created by Tim Burton in collaboration with Rocky and features six of his signature personas.
Back in February 2025, Rocky told GQ that his fourth studio LP was in the midst of mixing and mastering.
