Kirk in the Star Trek franchise, has worked on a variety of film and television projects, including the competition for “The Masked Singer.” In 2023, he narrated the documentary, “You Can Call Me Bill.” This explores with highlights of his career and personal subjects like his love for nature and his reflection on mortality.
“I have previously turned down many offers to do documentaries, but I don’t have long to live,” Shatner told Variety about “You can call me Bill.” “It’s a very factor because my time is limited, whether I’m talking to you or if I’m going to turn over ten years from now. I have grandchildren. This documentary is a way to reach out after I die.”
On the horizon, Shatner appears in “Family Tree.” This is a series of drummers from the holiday set created by himself and Tom Bergeron.
