Tom Holland kept a low-key appearance when he joined Zendaya in Paris during her press tour stop for The Drama. The couple were photographed leaving their hotel and Tom Holland complimented her while interacting with fans. He also made a surprise appearance at her premiere, but avoided posing on the red carpet.
Zendaya continued her press tour for the drama in Paris yesterday, and was joined by her partner Tom Holland in the French capital. Holland intentionally kept her appearance more modest during her stay, especially during the film’s premiere. Although the Spider-Man actor didn’t pose with his fiancée or alone on the red carpet, Elle France shared footage of him making a surprise red carpet appearance to cheer her on.
Throughout their relationship, Holland has intentionally avoided attending red carpets for premieres of her own projects, telling Men’s Health in 2025, “It’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us,” (with the exception of their joint projects like the Spider-Man movies).
Ahead of the event, Holland and Zendaya were captured by photographers in an admittedly sweet couple moment. As they left the hotel, they stopped to greet their fans and walked hand in hand.
In a video posted by photo agency Backgrid of the moment, Holland didn’t miss the opportunity to compliment his partner. “She’s amazing,” he said with a smile.
Over the weekend, Holland also shared a rare Instagram post about Zendaya’s movie, writing, “Honestly, I couldn’t be more excited to see this movie and believe me when I say it will captivate you. Get your tickets now!”
Zendaya and Holland haven’t made a joint red carpet appearance during The Drama’s press tour, but that could change later this year. The two will be promoting the two movies they co-star in, “The Odyssey” and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” both of which will be released in July. The pair last appeared on the red carpet at the LA premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home in December 2021.
In late December, Zendaya spoke with her The Drama co-star Robert Pattinson about how she navigates the public interest in her life, detailing how she tries to balance what she does and doesn’t share with the world.
“At the end of the day, you’re a public figure, so there’s nothing you can do. But there’s also something for yourself and your loved ones. And by creating a space between anonymity, you can play someone else, but it doesn’t necessarily always let you in. I mean, we just talked about being eloquent. Here I’m stumbling over my words and trying to explain what I’m trying to say,” she admitted. “But I try to maintain privacy, not just with my characters, but in real life. I try to be true to myself in public, but I also try to keep things to myself.”
