On Sunday, the Jonas brothers did not attend the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. The trio is taking part in a massive 20th anniversary tour in Los Angeles on the eve of a massive awards ceremony. However, the brothers are very familiar with the VMA. They were nominated 13 times and won the 2019 Best Pop Video with “Sucker.”
On August 10th, Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas began their tour at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Their surprise guest for the night was Demi Lovato. He was featured in a clip from the Can Rock film before Joe Jonas welcomed her to the stage. They sang medleys of film songs including “This Is Me.” At one point, Joe claimed he hadn’t played that particular song in “almost ten years.” Lovato replied, “It could have been longer… crazy!”
