Taylor Swift is not watching the Kansas City Chiefs football game today or tomorrow as there are no games this week. It’s the team’s bye week, a week off during the regular season. Kelce has been with Swift in New York City, where they have gone on multiple public dates.
Sunday football has started, but Taylor Swift won’t be attending any Kansas City Chiefs games with her fiancé, Travis Kelce, at any stadium today or tomorrow. The reason is simple. This is because it is the team’s bye week and there are no games.
Kelsea has been spending time with Swift in New York City, and the couple went on public dates on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Kelce is scheduled to play again next week when the Chiefs play an away game against the Denver Broncos on Nov. 16. They will play a home game against the Indianapolis Colts on November 23rd, then spend Thanksgiving away with an away game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Last week, a source spoke to Us Weekly about Swift and Kelce’s vacation plans, noting that the tight end has games on both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. This year’s holiday season will be “very low-key and family-focused, with no (any) extensive travel involved,” the source said. They plan to spend time with their families, the outlet reported.
At least Kelce won’t have to spend Christmas away from home, as the Chiefs’ Christmas game will be played at Arrowhead Stadium.
Kelce is keeping his exact plans for his bye week private this year. The couple has also generally kept their life together more private. Even at home games, Swift kept a low profile as she watched and cheered on her fiancé.
She has largely avoided being photographed arriving at the stadium or broadcast during games. A source told Us Weekly that the star athlete decided to fly a more low-profile route because the attention he received from the match became “too much.”
Her partner is focused on playing to the best of his ability, especially since the Chiefs currently sit in third place in the AFC West with a 5-4 record.
On this week’s New Heights podcast, Kelsey said, “It feels good[going into the bye week]because we know the characters that are in this room. We know the guys that are in there. We’re going to come back recharged and ready to rock and roll.”
He continued, “I can’t say I’m not frustrated, not just with this Bills game (the most recent loss), but with the whole early part of the season. There are some games that I don’t think we should have lost. I feel like we didn’t throw our best punch against Buffalo. How can we clean this up?” We’ve got to find a way to do it. We’ve got to be committed to each other on the field and get back to passionate Chiefs football. It doesn’t matter if it’s a short week to get ready by Sunday.”
He admitted that the Broncos game is on his mind for the next two weeks and he’s not thinking too far ahead about it.
