Taylor Swift did not appear at Travis Kelce’s Thanksgiving Day game against the Dallas Cowboys. The Chiefs play at the Cowboys’ home base in Arlington, Texas, and Swift has not been seen in away games this season.
Travis Kelce is spending Thanksgiving on the soccer field. His fiancée Taylor Swift is sure to be rooting for him, even if she’s keeping a low profile. Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are playing against the Dallas Cowboys at their home stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Swift has not been seen at any sporting events so far. It’s unclear whether she’s there to watch the game unnoticed like she did last week, or if she’s cheering on her partner from afar.
She has only been seen at home games this season, and even then, she was not photographed arriving at Arrowhead Stadium. A source told Us Weekly in October that she chose to attend the 2025 sporting event in a low-profile manner because attending more publicly would have attracted too much attention and become “too much.”
Swift has not attended any away games this season or last season, primarily due to safety risks. In October 2024, a source explained to Page Six, “She won’t go anywhere unless she knows the venue well and has thoroughly scouted and secured it in advance.”
But she always supports Kelce. In an interview on The Tonight Show during Kelce’s away game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Swift told host Jimmy Fallon, “It’s game day. My head is pretty pumped.”
The couple has kept their plans for Thanksgiving 2025 largely private. In late October, a source told Us Weekly that Swift and Kelsea were planning to spend the holidays together.
“It’s going to be very low-key, family-centered and (no) extensive travel,” the source said. They reportedly plan to “split their time” with their families.
Swift will return to the public eye this December with the release of her six-part documentary series, The End of an Era, and her final Ellas tour concert movie on Disney+. She will celebrate her 36th birthday on December 13th.
The star hinted at this on Instagram, writing, “Honestly, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than by reliving the Elas tour with you! This time we’re going backstage. The 6-episode behind-the-scenes documentary ‘The End of an Era’ will be available on @disneyplus from December 12th 🫶.”
