Sidney Sweeney did not make her 2026 awards season debut at tonight’s Golden Globes.
The star attended multiple events before the Golden Globes.
Sweeney received no nominations this year, but her “Housemaid” co-star Amanda Seyfried was nominated in two Best Actress categories.
Christie, played by Sidney Sweeney, was not nominated for this year’s Golden Globe Awards, and unsurprisingly, as she is not a presenter, Christie did not appear at the ceremony.
Sweeney’s The Housemaid co-star Amanda Seyfried was nominated for two big awards tonight. The awards are for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Musical or Comedy (The Testament of Ang Lee) and Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Made-for-Television Motion Picture (Long Bright River).
Sweeney spoke to W Magazine about how close he became with Seyfried in an interview published earlier this week. “I’m crazy about Amanda,” she said. “She’s my spirit animal. She’s made me more comfortable being who I am.”
Seyfried spoke glowingly about Sweeney in an interview with the magazine, citing many similarities, saying, “We have the same shoe size, we’re the same height, we laugh the same way. It was so crazy. In some ways, that movie[The Housemaid]It’s like One or Single White Female, but it was funny. I had to play it really hard. Paul Feig, the director, gave me the weirdest instructions. He was like, “Okay, make it.” (Sydney) I think I’m going to kiss her! ‘I felt very liberated. ”
Sweeney attended multiple events in Los Angeles this weekend with Seyfried, including W Magazine’s Best Performance Party on January 10th.
The day before, she wore a little black dress to Variety and the Golden Globes pre-Golden Globe party.
