Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s son, Orrin, did them an easy favor by coming in last.
The actor joked on Thursday’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” that he “never” would have had four children if he had had a boy first.
The Golden Globe nominee admitted it was an “unpleasant” experience to welcome her little girl in 2023, after daughters James, 10, Ines, nine, and Betty, six.
Reynolds explained that “nothing violent” or “creepy” had happened at her New York home until Olin arrived.
“He came out with three things in mind,” the Emmy winner quipped. “It was violence, breasts, and engines.”
The “Deadpool” star said his daughters are “so easy” compared to his son, who wants to “destroy everything.”
He would have given himself a “punch vasectomy” before having his “first three boys,” but something like that he “wouldn’t have allowed to happen.”
When Seth Meyers asked if James, Ines and Betty felt Olin was a “personnel issue,” Reynolds said, “I think so.”
He joked, “I’m kind of in direct competition with this young man.”
Mr. Lively, 38, described Mr. Olin as “romantic” when he met Mr. Myers in March.
“When I walk into the room, he says, ‘Mommy, my love!'” the actress gushed at the time. “He always declares me the love of his life and it’s just the best feeling in the world.
“I dress like a middle school girl every day,” the “Gossip Girl” alum continued. “It’s like, ‘Oh my God… I hope he says something.'”
She called their home “chaotic” and compared one of her daughters, who did not give their names, to birthday twins Napoleon Bonaparte and Jennifer Lawrence.
“She’s the funniest person in the world, but she’s definitely going to rule the world with her autocratic leadership,” Lively apparently said, referring to Betty.
Lively, who has chosen to keep her children out of the spotlight, also addressed her legal drama with “It Ends with Us” co-star Justin Baldoni in the interview.
She said that during a “pretty fulfilling year”, James, Ines, Betty and Orin were her “lifeline through any given day”.
Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment in December 2024, and the 41-year-old Baldoni countersued the following month, but the case was dismissed by a judge in June.
As Lively’s lawsuit drags on, Lively recently hired Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorney Alexandra Shapiro to join his extensive legal team.
