Timothée Chalamet’s excuse for skipping Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party isn’t exactly unknown.
The actor missed his girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s mother’s star-studded party on Saturday because he was busy “shooting two big projects.”
A source told Us Weekly on Wednesday that Chalamet, 29, and Kylie, 28, continued to “FaceTime every day” while filming Dune: Part 3.
A source claimed that “everything is going well” for the couple, who have been together since 2023.
The paper claimed, “Kylie respects that he is working hard right now and is at a great moment in his career.”
A source said Chalamet and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star “don’t spend every day together, which makes their time together feel even more special.”
The source added that Kylie “doesn’t mind” keeping her romance with the Oscar nominee “private” as she is “very serious” about her love life.
“Everyone worships them together and Kylie is present in her children’s lives as well and they’re so happy,” the person added, referring to Kylie’s daughter Stormi, 7, and son Ayre, 3, with ex Travis Scott.
People magazine similarly reported on Tuesday that the duo is still “going strong” despite Chalamet’s headline-making appearance at a James Bond-themed weekend party that sparked rumors of a breakup.
The outlet previously claimed in August that the couple was “doing great” despite the “Call Me By Your Name” star’s “grueling” schedule with “little downtime.”
A source said, “They will pass each other, but there is no problem at all.”
Kylie personally shot down speculation of a breakup in a subtle social media move on Tuesday after the Daily Mail reported on Trouble in Paradise.
The Kylie Cosmetics creator liked Chalamet’s latest Instagram post promoting his new movie Marty Supreme.
Kylie only started following her partner on the social media platform in July. While Chalamet didn’t return the favor, Golden Globe nominee Kylie doesn’t follow anyone on the app.
He and other “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alums also made their red carpet debuts earlier this year.
Despite their romance being largely private, Chalamet hinted at next steps in an interview with Vogue published last week.
The ‘Completely Unknown’ star admitted that having children “could get attention” and dismissed the “dark” idea of not having children to have “time to do other things”.
Chalamet did not directly mention Kylie in his profile, insisting it was not out of “fear” but because he “has nothing to say.”
