Ariana Grande skipped 2025 Emmy after she was snapped in one category of qualifying. The star won this year’s video at MTV VMAS last weekend.
Ariana Grande was the front and center at last week’s MTV VMAS, where she won the coveted Video of the Year award and wore four different dresses. Tonight’s Emmy is a different story as the singer and actress chose not to attend. However, she had good reason to skip the LA ceremony. Grande was snubted in one category she qualified for. The best guest actress in her comedy series, hosting Saturday Night Live. (In addition, this category was published during Preshow.)
Grande is not a presenter for the show and has no other nominations. Emmy is aware of her TV achievements, and Grande has been doing more films recently. The actress shared a photo of herself in New York City today, further confirming that she is not in LA for the ceremony.
But her step-co-star Ben Stiller was thinking of her on the red carpet. He discussed working with her in a film in a production.
