Paul Anthony Kelly played the role of JFK Jr. in A Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, but the actor continues to have his own love story unfolding.
Shortly after the release of the FX and Hulu show, which follows the lives of the Kennedys who fall in love with Bessette, the fashionable Calvin Klein publicist, the actor gave birth to his first child with his wife, film production freelancer Sid Widziszewski-Kelly, in 2026.

According to Widziszewski-Kelly’s LinkedIn, she currently works as a freelance production coordinator on a movie set. Her production credits include 2023’s “Black Maria,” 2022’s “Don’t Worry Darling,” and 2021’s “C’mon C’mon.”
They married in 2023.
On May 1, 2024, Kelly celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Instagram.
“One year ago, we tied the proverbial knot. Since that day, I think I’m the happiest and healthiest I’ve ever been. I love you more than words can express. And in several lifetimes… X. @sydwidziszewski,” he captioned the post.
They made their red carpet debut in September 2025.
Wirzyzewski-Kelly accompanied her husband to the Met Opera Opening Night Gala in New York City on September 21, 2025. For this occasion, she wore a strapless black dress with sheer black panels covering her arms and chest. Her husband matched her in a black tailored tuxedo.
She frequently visited the set of Love Story.
Kelly revealed in an interview with Glamor UK in February 2026 that Widziszewski-Kelly was frequently on set while filming the series.

“My wife was present to make most of it,” he told the magazine. When asked if he was ready for the fame to come, he said, “I don’t know if anyone is ready for what’s going to happen. We’ll see. We’re just taking it in stride. I’m so blessed to have this amazing support system.”
She recently gave birth to her first child.
Kelly appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” on February 23, 2026, and confirmed that she and Widziszewski-Kelly recently welcomed their first child together. “You just became a dad!” Clarkson said, to which he replied, “Yes, thank you very much.”
Kelly admitted that becoming a father has made him even more “tired.” He added: “A little bit. That’s certainly an understatement.” During the talk show appearance, she did not reveal the baby’s name or gender.
In a December 2025 interview feature, Kelly talked about how he found out his wife was pregnant.
“We were going out to dinner to celebrate our second wedding anniversary and she told me she was pregnant,” he said. It was a big week for the up-and-coming star. He also received a call from the producers telling him that he had been chosen for the role where he had chemistry with his co-star in the series, Sarah Pidgeon.
“The next day, I got a call from my agent who wanted to meet me next week to assess my compatibility with Sarah, who had already been cast in the role of Carolyn,” he added. “The condition was that I had to get my green card by then. I got the call on Friday. I got my green card on Saturday. I booked my ticket on Sunday.”
The Canadian actor also said he and Widziszewski-Kelly plan to “move home and start nesting.” The baby also seemed to have a special connection to Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. “Initially, it was estimated that the baby would be born on January 7, which was Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s birthday,” he said.
