Armstrong is an actor and writer who may be known to fans of Tina Fey’s “30 Rock.” There he played a small comedy character named “Jeb”. He landed a bigger role in Aziz Ansari’s Master of None, but his main job in recent years has been as a producer. Armstrong produced 13 episodes of The Daily Show and three episodes of Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj. He also wrote The Opposition With Jordan Klepper and When Nature Calls.

Lee attended college in Chicago, where he met Armstrong. Armstrong is currently private on Instagram, but when his account was public, he posted the stunning #TBT from what Armstrong described as “sometime during President Obama’s first term.”
They married in 2014.
What does Lee say about Armstrong?
Although she doesn’t give many details, Lee revealed in the interview that even when things are going well, she still goes to couples therapy for “maintenance.” They also decided to leave New York, where they lived for 10 years, and live a quiet family life in the Los Angeles suburbs.
Lee said, “The crazy thing for us humans is what happens when that fight goes away. We live in New York every day like it’s life or death, and this alone could make us really bananas.”
She also said she was most proud of her “family life.”
Lee told ELLE in November about her decision not to participate in social media, saying, “I’m not connected to the internet. I don’t read comments. I don’t read reviews. Sometimes people send me things because they’re excited and want me to see them. The hate complex is very real. I quit Instagram about 3 or 4 years ago just as an experiment. Like, what happens? Will I just quit? Will I miss out on important information? Will I become culturally deformed? No, it’s incredibly liberating and something important enough will find you.”
Do Lee and Armstrong have children?
The couple gave birth to their son, Apollo, in August 2016, with Armstrong writing, “Greta and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our son, Apollo Juson Armstrong. He was born on August 15, 2016, on Liberation Day, at 12:30 p.m., 8 pounds, 10 ounces, 48.5 cm, full of energy and crying. We love him so much.”
In 2019, their second son, Rafael Jubek, was born.
Lee told Yahoo! A lifestyle in which they are already teaching their children to manage the household with age-appropriate strategic chores.
“My 4-year-old son busses his plate at the end of every meal,” she said. “The garden is watered frequently. They each have their own watering cans. It’s important for us to get them involved in the household chores and keep things moving in the house, and not assume that everything is done for them.”
A month after their second child was born, Armstrong paid a sweet tribute to his wife on Mother’s Day.
“Raising children with your partner is a gamble,” he wrote in a now-private Instagram post. “When you start dating someone in your 20s, you don’t think about whether or not they can shoot a rocket out of a cardboard box. No parent is perfect or very good to begin with. I’m not. But with you, I feel like I won the lottery.”

The couple rarely appears in public. They posed for a photo at Netflix’s 2024 Golden Globe After Party.
