Jennifer Aniston has largely moved her love life away from the public eye since her split from Justin Therow in 2018, but that seems to have changed. In July 2025, Friendsstar was photographed on vacation in Mallorca, Spain, and Jim Curtis is a wellness expert whose resume ranges from hypnotherapy to roles on major health platforms. A few days later, People and the US Weekly confirmed that Aniston and Curtis were dating.
Neither has publicly commented on their relationship, but sources have spoken about their connections. Below is everything you need to know about Curtis.
Curtis is a wellness coach, author and hypnotherapist.
Curtis calls himself “wellness spioner, author and coach” on his official website. His approach combines subconscious work, mindfulness and mental coaching to help people “have freed themselves from the past and create a whole new, empowered reality.
Curtis’ background includes roles in WebMD and Everyday Health. He currently works as a transformative coach and speaker, providing a service called “Hypnotism Realization.”
He has spoken openly about overcoming chronic illness.
Curtis focuses on healing, and is personal. At the age of 22, he was diagnosed with a spinal cord lesion, leading to chronic pain, muscle convulsions and mobility issues. “It was unclear how they started, but I got sick so quickly that I had a hard time walking,” he said in a 2018 interview with Fast Company.
“My own illness and disability forced me to confront the sadness, illness and the limited beliefs, mutilation and trauma that kept me alone,” Curtis wrote on his website. “Through many powerful tools, including hypnosis, I have not only changed my physical health, depression and relationships, but I have also helped thousands of people create an entirely new reality full of connection, community and love.”
He is the author of two books on healing and transformation.
Curtis has written two books: The Stimmingati Experience (2017) outlines nine principles for overcoming pain and regression, co-authoring with Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide (2024), Sara Hadir.
In May 2025, Aniston shared a photo of one of Curtis’ books on Instagram Carousel and tagged him with a post.
Curtis has a client list studded with big supporters and stars on Instagram.
Curtis has a strong online presence and posts manifestation exercises and motivational videos for over 550,000 followers. His content regularly covers topics such as emotional resilience, moving out of heartbreak, and building self-worth. His past clients include Miranda Kerr and Julian Huff.
He was first linked to Aniston in June 2025.
Curtis and Aniston were first discovered together at the luxury resort of Ventana Big Sur in California. Sources told Page 6 “being hugged” while eating at a hotel restaurant in June.
In July they took another photo at Marolka with longtime Aniston friend Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka. A photo issued by the Daily Mail showed Aniston introducing Curtis to the couple before getting on the yacht.
A photo published by The Daily Mail a few days later shows Aniston and Curtis lovingly on a boat, holding hands and leaning against each other. In one image, Curtis touches the actress’s hair with a sweet gesture.
Their connections began earlier than their vacation, and friends set them up.
Aniston and Curtis have previously connected while their travels to Mallorca brought their rumours to the public. According to the Daily Mail, Aniston has been following Curtis on Instagram for nearly two years and liked many posts on topics like healing, affirmation, relationships and more.
In April, she told Travel + Leisure that she had recently started using hypnosis to overcome the fear of hypnosis, but Curtis didn’t mention it by name. “But I’ve been doing some hypnosis lately…it’s surprisingly good!” she said.
On July 13, 2025, sources informed people that Curtis and Aniston were founded by friends. “They’ve seen each other for several months,” the source said. “They were introduced by friends and started out as friends. Jen read his books and was well versed in his work. She’s really into self-help and health. They’re dating, but it’s still casual.”
Curtis and Aniston enjoyed the early days of their private romance.
Sources told Weekly on July 10 that the new couple is keeping their romance private. “They wandered a lot, but they do so much in their DL at their home in LA,” the insider explained. “It’s very zen and she’s always very interested in it. They’re a good match.”
The source added that they are “happy and really really into each other.”
Curtis also co-founded a personal branding company.

On August 4th, Aniston and Curtis were enjoying dinner with Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka in New York City a few days after they returned from their trip to Spain.
The pair reportedly leads to mutual love for dogs.
On August 8, Curtis was photographed with Aniston and his rescue dog, Ody, at Tribeca in New York City. “Jennifer was really connected to Jim over her love for rescue dogs,” the source told the Daily Mail. “Instead of dating, he saved Odi. It gave him so much love that he didn’t have to run around with random women. He was single for a while.
They were seen together again in Malibu.
On August 18th, the couple was found in Malibu with Courtney Cox and Johnny McDade, leaving Nobu together for a photo. Aniston chose a loose look in a blue jacket layered over a white shirt, paired with relaxed blue jeans and thin framed glasses.
Curtis maintained a casual look with worn dark denim button-downs over a gray T-shirt, paired it with green pants and white sneakers.
They returned to New York in September 2025.
