Claudia Sulewski and Finneas O’Connell announced their engagement in September 2025 after seven years of dating. Slewski is a YouTuber, actress, director, and founder of the sustainable body care brand Cycla. The couple has collaborated on creative projects, including O’Connell’s “2001” music video.
Professionally, Finneas O’Connell, also known as FINNEAS, is best known for his collaborations with his sister Billie Eilish and his budding career as a solo artist. As for his personal life, the Grammy Award-winning musician has been in a long-term relationship with Claudia Slewski since 2018, and the two recently celebrated a major milestone. The two announced their engagement in September 2025.
Sulewski shared a photo of her and O’Connell in an Instagram post with the caption, “Forever and forever 9.22.” Words of support from celebrities quickly filled the comments section, with Eilish leaving a simple string of pink heart emojis: “💞💞.”
Sulewski later posted a video showing off her diamond ring and wrote, “We’re getting married 💍.” O’Connell also appeared in the clip.

Slewski began acting in 2014 and has since appeared in projects such as The Commute, I Love My Dad, and Apple TV+’s Shrinking.
“Acting is so exciting,” she previously told ELLE. “I’m able to surrender my control and power to everyone else. That’s still new to me.”
Slewski is a YouTuber.
Sulewski started posting on YouTube as a teenager, with his first published video dating back to June 22, 2010. Since then, the 29-year-old’s subscriber count has grown to 2.45 million. These days, she posts monthly vlogs. In September 2025, she talked about how O’Connell proposed in a video titled “We Got Engaged ♥️,” and the following month she shared more behind-the-scenes footage of him popping the question and opened up more about their engagement.
“It really started out of a love of filmmaking,” she told ELLE about her early YouTube days. “For some reason, I took YouTube very seriously, and because of that consistency and drive, I was able to turn it into something much bigger. Thank you to that little girl.”
She runs a sustainable body care company.
In 2023, Sulewski founded Cyklar, a sustainable body care company that offers products such as exfoliating body sprays, perfume oils, and body creams.
“I’ve never built my own brand or put my name on anything. This is 100 percent me,” she told ELLE. “This is my first time doing something like this. And I’m glad I waited that long because I knew that whatever I ended up making had a purpose and a reason for existing. I really wanted to make something that had impact and meaning.”
Since the line is unisex, she also sought input from some of the men in her life. “I wanted to make sure all my straight men, my cis friends, and my boyfriends co-signed,” she said. “Being able to pick the brains of close friends and family members was a really fun part of the process.”
Mr. Slewski and Mr. O’Connell met in 2018.
Slewski and O’Connell reportedly met on the dating app Raya in 2018, but she had already heard about him through a mutual friend. In a 2023 episode of the Skinny Confidential podcast, Sulewski opened up more about their early love story.
“Two and a half years before we met at Raya…I have a lot of friends in the music industry, and two of my best friends were doing sessions with him,” she said. “Both times, they were like, ‘I just had a session with this guy. You guys are going to fall in love, but it’s not worth it because he’s always out of town.'” Then in 2018, I was having breakfast with one of those friends and I saw his profile (of Raya) and I was like, ‘Is this him? ” I thought. From there, Sulewski matched with him and “everything fell into place perfectly and very quickly.”

Sulewski has also directed music videos, including O’Connell’s “2001,” starring Kate Hudson.
Sulewski shared stills and behind-the-scenes shots from the video on Instagram, writing, “This music video was a dream to conceptualize, direct, and edit. Thank you to Interscope and my incredibly talented cast and crew for helping bring this idea to life! Pinch, pinch 🚀.”
O’Connell left a sweet comment, saying, “My hero!!! A music video about falling in love with your director, made by a director I’m in love with! It’s meta!!!”
She also directed the video for “David’s Brother” by O’Connell’s band, The Favors.
Sulewski and O’Connell have been posting about each other on social media.
On September 22, 2022, he posted several photos of them and also posted some solo shots of her to commemorate their 4th anniversary. “To find someone as talented, creative, and hard-working as you, you have to look all over the world. And to find someone just as kind, thoughtful, and generous, you have to look a second time. On July 30, 2025, she posted a sweet tribute to O’Connell on his birthday, writing, “Happy 28th 🫂 My favorite person on this planet!!! No notes. Give me 14.” He commented on the post: “I love you, baby!”
Mr. Sulewski and Mr. O’Connell often attend industry events together.
Their first public appearance as a couple was on May 16, 2019 at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards.
A few months later, on November 24, 2019, they attended the American Music Awards, with Sulewski sitting alongside O’Connell, Eilish, and their mother Maggie.
In 2020, they attended the Grammy Awards, where O’Connell won six awards, including Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.
The couple also appeared at the Oscars that year.
