Sony Pictures Animation’s Goat, which opens in theaters on February 13th, is an original action comedy set entirely in the animal world, revolving around the high-stakes sport of Roarball. Roarball is a coed, full-contact version of basketball dominated by the biggest, fastest, and most ferocious animals on the planet. The story centers on Will Harris (voiced by Stranger Things’ Caleb McLaughlin), a little goat with big ambitions, whose unlikely rise to power challenges the long-held idea that little goats are worthless.

The film’s voice cast includes voice actors from the worlds of film, television, comedy, and basketball, bringing together a fantastical world with personality, humor, and emotional stakes. From NBA and WNBA legends to MVP rivals to struggling teammates to great leaders, each character brings a unique presence to the lower-ball court and Will’s journey as an underdog.

McLaughlin will be reunited with David Harbor, who voices the rhinoceros loreball player Archie on Stranger Things. Their other cast members include Gabrielle Union, Aaron Pierre, Nicola Coughlan, Nick Kroll, and more. On the sports side, Golden State Warriors champion Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry will join the cast, along with Union’s husband and Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade, WNBA stars Angel Reese and A’ja Wilson.
