Taylor Swift and Travis Kelse are set to tie the knot after their engagement, but legal experts recommend that wealthy, powerful couples prepare an iron round marriage agreement before they say “I.”
“Prenup makes perfect sense to them. Taylor is worth around $1.6 billion and Travis is worth around $90 million. That’s a huge difference.”

Chrobak also wants to make sure that some of the Swift 35 terminology wants to include protections for tour revenue and brand deals, while 35-year-old Kelce also remains separate assets, like his “New Heights” podcast.
However, if there is a possibility of a future divorce, there is a need for discussion about how the proceeds made during the marriage will be split.
Chrobak also advises that A-listers like Swift and Kelce explicitly point out restrictions surrounding “names, images, and similar rights” in Prenup.
“Both are just as brands as people, so if things fall apart, make sure you don’t even misuse other images or names,” she says.
“Then you’re confidential. At their celebrity level, non-inheritance and strict confidentiality clauses are important to prevent memoirs, details and messy headlines.”
As Swift monetized her entire personal experience through candid song lyrics, Kelce’s Prenup terminology could affect what she wrote about whether they would split up or not.
Mazor said, “I also imagine NDA as an important part of Prenup.”

Chrobak said “unquestionably” Grammy winners “have more to protect,” mainly because her fortune is 18 times larger than Kelce, who has an approximate net worth of $90 million.
Swift’s estimated $400 million music catalogue, $160 million streaming deals and $370 million touring revenue are just a few of the contributors to her impressive financial portfolio.
She also owns about $80 million in property, with properties in New York City, Rhode Island and Florida, and was rumored to have shopped the house with Kelse for another home in Cleveland.
“For practical things, there will be clear rules for joint property and you will also need to choose which state laws apply.
“If there is no pre-up and the assets are disrupted, even a small percentage of Taylor’s wealth will change his life for him.
Lawyer Holly Davis advises that if Travis gets divorced, Swift will clearly define the assets earlier than later, as they could argue that some of the Taylor Swift money she had before marriage could be split between the two if they divorced.
The founding partner of the Texas-based law firm also points out that Kelce’s NFL career is likely to end soon, so if he’s about to retire in a few years, he may be negotiating more specifically with this pre-up.”
Attorney Kirk Stange agrees, “Taylor could lose a lot without appetizers as Travis could be near the end of his NFL career, as Taylor could continue to make music for many years.”
Mazor also emphasizes that Swift is “already fighting a legitimate fight,” referring to how the “Shake It Off” singer regained ownership of the Master after years of crusades.
“Prenup ensures that she remains the sole owner of her music,” says Bender and Crane’s lawyers.
“Taylor’s career is not only stable, but has skyrocketed. She is in a billionaire era, leading record-breaking tour revenue, streaming numbers and approval transactions. She’s her own economy.”
The lawyer said, “One of the important things to eliminate in a pre-up like this is the support of your spouse, as they are both independently hundreds of millions of animals.”
It’s unclear if Swift and Kelce started thinking about Prenup. Their representatives did not immediately return a request for comment on Page 6.
However, the power couple could be in their love bubble as they broke the engagement news on Tuesday in a joint post via Instagram that said “your English teacher and gym teacher are married.”
Kelse went down one knee with the glorious cut sparklers from the old mine.
Page 6 learns that the Super Bowl champion actually popped the question “a few weeks ago,” so the pair keeps the happy news secret for a while.
