Jessica Biel is “not happy” that body camera footage of her husband Justin Timberlake’s drunk driving arrest was released.
A source told People magazine on Sunday that the “Better Sister” actress was “not happy with the new attention” and pointed out that “there is a reason why they delayed the release of the video.”
The source went on to say that the incident was “stressful” because it “obviously doesn’t paint[Timberlake]in the best light.”
She “wants to get over it,” the source claimed.
Despite the scandal coming to light, Biel remains “supportive” of Timberlake, whom she has been married to since 2012.
“There have been some difficult moments recently, but she is focused on moving forward,” the source further told the magazine.
“She is happiest when she chooses to work on a project that allows her to focus not only on her work, but also on her family life.”
The source also explained that while she supports her, “she’s also not afraid to express when she’s disappointed in a particular decision,” adding, “This was one of those moments.”
Biel, 44, and Timberlake, 45, have two sons, Silas, 10, and Phineas, 5.
On Friday, footage of the “Cry Me A River” singer’s Hamptons DWI arrest was finally released despite attempts to prevent it.
In the video, Timberlake is pulled over and asked a series of questions before being asked to take several sobriety tests.
After stumbling several times when asked to walk in a straight line, he called the test “difficult” and admitted that his “heart was racing.” Although he cooperated with multiple requests, he refused several breathalyzer tests.
In the clip, a female friend of the singer also arrived on the scene and alluded to his fame so the cops could go easy on him.
“Are you going to arrest Justin Timberlake now?” she can be heard asking before pleading, “I loved ‘Bye Bye Bye’ or ‘Sexy Back,’ so could you please do me a favor?” Please allow me to make just one request! ”
Despite being nervous at first, Timberlake was also filmed cracking a few jokes after being processed at the station.
The footage was released after Timberlake filed a lawsuit against the Long Island town of Sag Harbor, where he was arrested, seeking an injunction to stop the footage from being released.
The “Mirrors” singer was arrested in June 2024 and charged with one count of driving under the influence and two traffic violations: failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to drive on the right.
At the time, a source told Page Six that the former *NSYNC member was pulled over after having dinner with friends at the historic American Hotel, but “there were police stationed outside.”
We also exclusively reported that Timberlake expressed concern about the fate of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour during the investigation.
“The officer didn’t know who he was at first,” the source said. “Justin said under his breath, ‘This is going to ruin the tour.’ The officer replied, ‘What tour?’ Justin said, ‘World tour.’
His long night was evident on his face as he posed for a mug shot with visibly bloodshot eyes after being taken into custody.
And although the Grammy winner’s attorney claimed he was not “intoxicated” at the time of his arrest, he struck a plea deal that reduced his DWI charge to a non-criminal traffic violation.
However, his license was suspended.
