ABC pulled Jimmy Kimmel’s television show from the air indefinitely after the late-night host commented on Charlie Kirk’s death.
Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, September 15th! In the episode of the 57-year-old comedian discussed recent events such as President Donald Trump criticising the NFL’s new “kickoff rules” and “Cissy” football.”

Tyler Robinson, 22, is being charged with murder, aggravated in connection with Kirk’s death.
“We hit some new lows over the weekend and the Magagangs are desperately trying to characterize this kid who is doing everything they can to kill Charlie Kirk as something other than them and score political points from there,” Kimmel began. “There was sadness between my points.”
“On Friday, the White House flew the flag to half of its staff.
The clip was then cut to Kimmel’s broadcast, with Trump, 79, asking questions from a reporter after the shooting.
When asked how he was holding up, Trump said, “I think it’s very good. By the way, looking at all the trucks, they just started building a new ballroom for the White House.”
Trump continued to discuss the Ballroom plan, saying the outcome would be “beauty.”
The camera then cuts into Kimmel. “Yes, he’s saddened and in the fourth stage of construction,” the comedian said.

“Demolition, construction,” Kimmel added. “This is not a way for adults to grieve the murder of someone he called a friend. This is the way a four-year-old laments the goldfish, right?”
The host then claimed Trump’s apparently non-charrant comment “it didn’t happen once,” and appeared on Fox & Friends on September 12th, recalling what he was doing when he got news of Kirk’s death.
“When I heard that, I was doing great things for 150 years when I wanted a ballroom in the White House. They don’t have a ballroom.
Trump recalled that when someone came in and said “Charlie Kirk is dead,” he was with the architect who was planning a “incredible” design for the ballroom. The president said he expressed shock at the news.
“And we set up the most beautiful chandelier,” Kimmel said as Kimmel returned to him. “You wouldn’t believe it.”
“There’s something wrong with him, there’s really. Who would think of it that way?” Kimmel said, previously denounced violence and expressed his sadness towards Kirk’s family. “Why are we building a $200 million ballroom in the White House? Could he be upset about it instead of the Epstein List because he might be doing it on purpose?

Nexstar’s Broadcasting Division Chairman Andrew Alford detailed the people’s decisions, saying, “Kimmel’s comments about Kirk’s death were aggressive and insensitive at a critical period in our national political discourse and do not reflect the value of the opinions, opinions or values of the communities in which we are located.” ”
Alford continues. “Continuing to provide Kimmel with a broadcasting platform for the community we serve is not at the public interest at this point, but has made the difficult decision to preempt his show to prioritize cooler heads as we resume a respectful and constructive dialogue.”
