Season 2 of “Wednesday” has been placed on Netflix’s list of the most popular English TV titles of all time in the second week of Part 2 availability.
With season 1 of “Wednesday” remaining in No. 1, the season was expected to eventually make a list. Season 2 has totaled 94.5 million views so far. Netflix compiles the best list of all time, by calculating the total views of each title up to 91 days after its premiere, or for multi-part drops like “Wednesday,” 91 days after the final episode was released. This means that the Jenna Ortega-led series will continue to rise to the top of the charts until early December. Adding to the Season 2 list knocked out previous No. 10 titles, which were “Stranger Things” season 3.
Despite the results, “Wednesday” was not the top TV show for the week of September 8th-14th. That title was a Terence Crawford vs. Canelo Alvarez boxing match with 17.7 million views, and Season 2 of “Wednesday” lasted 15 million times. And “Wednesday” Season 1 continues to attract new attention, landing in 6th place with 3.6 million views.
“Hostage” was ranked 7th in the fourth week with 3 million views, followed by 2.6 million views of “RAW: 2025” on September 8th. The two titles on the chart are “Beauty and the Bester” (2.5 million views) and “Dr. Seuss’ Red Fish, Blue Fish” (2 million views), both making their chart debuts.
