A video that appears to depict an awkward exchange between Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, and his mother Victoria Beckham on a 2023 red carpet has resurfaced amid the current family drama.
Just a day after David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest child shared a message to his Instagram Story detailing the rift in their relationship over the years, footage from the October 2023 London premiere of David’s Netflix documentary Beckham has surfaced on social media.
In the video, David, 50, is seen standing at one end of the red carpet with his wife Victoria, 51, standing next to him.
His son Brooklyn, 26, is by his mother’s side and his wife Nicola, 31, is in her final moments. The group of four poses to the camera’s flash. Other children also pose together. However, they are not within the frame of the video.
In the video, Victoria appears diagonally across from Brooklyn, with her back slightly turned towards him. Nicola continued to pose and at one point Brooklyn pulled her closer to him.
Brooklyn and Nicola married in April 2022.
On Monday, January 19, the Cloud23 CEO shared six slides on his Instagram Story, detailing his ongoing issues with his parents that date back to his wedding to actress Laura.
“I have been silent for years and have made every effort to keep these things private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team continue to appear in the press and I have no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth only about some of the lies that have been printed,” he began in a lengthy post, adding, “I do not want to reconcile with my family.”
In May 2025, a source exclusively told PEOPLE that Victoria left Nicola “in tears” after “ruining” her husband and the model’s first dance at their wedding.
In a post on Monday, she claimed, “My mother was waiting to dance with me… and danced on me very inappropriately in front of everyone. I have never felt so uncomfortable and humiliated in my life.”

He also said that his family had told him that he and Nicola were “not related by blood” and “we are not family.”
After the pro athlete’s 50th birthday celebration in 2025, a source told PEOPLE that Brooklyn and Nicola were invited, but it’s unclear why they didn’t attend.

“The relationship is definitely not beyond repair,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “They love (Brooklyn) and are always there for him. They are just hurt and disappointed that he doesn’t play any role in their family life.”
“David and Victoria have repeatedly asked Brooklyn and Nicola to meet and talk in order to move forward,” a source told PEOPLE in early January. “David loves his children. They are everything to him.”
