3388 Films, the distributor of the Vietnamese psychological thriller “Bunny!!,” announced that it surpassed $1 million in its first week of overseas release in North America and Europe, making it the second-best opening weekend for a Vietnamese title in these multiple markets.
The film, whose original title in Vietnamese is “Tho Oi,” was released on March 26 in nine territories, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Norway, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. As a result, “Bunny!!” will also be installed. It was selected as the top Vietnamese film of 2026 in both the domestic and international markets.
Building on that momentum, 3388 Films will expand its release to Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Mongolia on May 22nd, with further European and Asian markets to follow.
Bunny!! was written and directed by Vietnam’s most commercially successful filmmaker, winner of five of the country’s 10 highest-grossing films of all time. The story revolves around a popular love counseling host whose world begins to fall apart after meeting a guest with a deeply disturbing past. In addition to Tran Thanh, the ensemble cast includes Phao, Riley, Van My Huong, Quoc Anh, Vinh Dam, Phap Kieu, Ali Hoang Duong, Quang Thanh, Thanh Lam, BB Tran, Dinh Ngoc Diep, Orange, Jill Le, and Chris Phan.

The film was produced by Tran Thanh Town, Galaxy Studios, and HKFilm. 3388 Films previously distributed Mai, the first Vietnamese film to gross more than $2 million at the North American and European box office.
