Friendship never ends.
Victoria Beckham reunited with the Spice Girls at Emma Bunton’s 50th birthday party following son Brooklyn Beckham’s scathing comments about his family.
The designer known as Posh Spice was photographed in an Instagram snap posing with Geri Halliwell-Horner (Ginger Spice), Melanie “Mel C” (Sporty Spice) and Bunton (Baby Spice) in England on Saturday.
The beloved girl group, minus Melanie “Mel B” Brown (Scary Spice), lounged together and were all smiles.
Victoria, 51, captioned the photo: “Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul @emmaleebunton.” “I love you guys so much @gerihalliwellhorner @melaniecmusic xxxxxxx.”
Her husband of four, David Beckham, 50, gushed over the special moment in the comments section, writing:
“I can only imagine how Spice Girls (sic) fans are feeling 😍 @spicegirls 😍 @victoriabeckham A special night celebrating Emma @emmaleebunton x.”
Banton, who celebrated his milestone birthday on January 21st, responded, “I love you all so much❤️.”
Meanwhile, Victoria put on a brave face after Brooklyn, 26, released a bombshell about how her “controlling” parents are ruining his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz, 31.
“I don’t want to reconcile with my family,” he wrote via Instagram last week. “For the first time in my life, I’m standing up for myself. My parents have always controlled the media coverage of our family.”
“I recently saw with my own eyes how much trouble they go to to protect their own façade and feed countless lies to the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people,” Shehu added.
Brooklyn also claimed that Victoria declined to make Peltz’s wedding dress at the last minute, leaving her scrambling to find another.
He also claimed that the “Wannabe” songstress inappropriately danced on him at the reception.
David and Victoria have yet to address the allegations, but the latter reportedly feels betrayed as his son and Peltz have done “everything they could to make sure they felt welcome and loved Nicola like another daughter.”
A source told the Mirror that the pop star had previously worked to protect Brooklyn from a narrative that “didn’t always paint it in the best light”.
But she now “feels like it’s been thrown back in her face.” Victoria will do anything to avoid family rifts, but she thinks they’re both being unreasonable. ”
